How does it work?
Our Talent Acquisition Partners will e-mail job opportunities to registered Talent Promoters (TP) and include the amount that can be earned. Job opportunities will also be posted on the TP Information page. Access to this page will be given once registration is complete.
The TP can post the open position with a designated application link in all social media feeds, e-mail, text, or any other way that lets people know of the job opportunity. Applicants will need to use the TP's personal identification number (provided during the registration process) when applying, so that the TP gets credit for the referral.
Applications will be prescreened by a Lee Company Talent Acquisition Partner and, if the applicant meets expectations, skills, and experience for an open position, the application will then be presented to the hiring manager for consideration. Once the selected candidate starts the new position, the TP will be asked to complete a W-9 form so that the referral fee can be paid through Lee Company's Accounts Payable team. The TA will receive payment after the referred candidate completes the first day of employment and within 30 days after Lee Company receives the completed W-9 form from the Talent Promoter.
*After 90 days, referrals become void.
*Talent Promoters must be registered on our official registration form and the applicant must use the five-digit TP identification number on the application for the TP to be eligible for the referral payout.
*If an application has been submitted multiple times using different TP codes, the first submission, which is time stamped upon receipt, will be the one to receive credit if a hire is made.
* Referred applicants are not guaranteed an interview.
* Should an applicant be hired for a position other than the one that was originally posted, the payout will be the amount, if any, that is assigned to the position for which the referred candidate filled.
*The Talent Promoter is considered an independent contractor and will not be a Lee Company employee or be eligible for Lee Company benefits.
*The Talent Promoter should not claim any affiliation with Lee Company in any way other than to promote open positions.
